Chautauqua Region Community Foundation Awards Over $800,000 to Local Students

Chautauqua Region Community Foundation Program Officer Lisa Lynde recently met with the Foundation's Board of Directors, and announced that $813,252 in financial assistance was awarded to 678 recipients for the 2010-2011 Scholarship season. Chautauqua Region Community Foundation Executive Director Randall Sweeney is pleased to announce the addition of Joel Keefer as the organization's new Community Relations Officer. Keefer officially began his work with the Community Foundation on December 1, 2010. 
 
"It is my pleasure to announce that Joel Keefer has been named as our new Community Relations Officer", Sweeney stated.  "Joel has an extensive media and public relations background and will be a great asset to our organization. The Foundation has a long list of messages that need to be shared with the Chautauqua region. I am confident that Joel will help us accomplish this task."
