Falconer United Methodist Church Hosts Window Dedication
The morning worship service at Falconer United Methodist Church took on an added meaning Sunday with the dedication of 43 new, energy-efficient windows.
City Elks Donate Dictionaries
Jamestown Elks Lodge 263 donated 32 dictionaries to third-grade students at Panama Elementary School recently. The lodge has partnered with The Dictionary Project each year since 2002 and this year donated more than 905 dictionaries to 15 area elementary schools.
Christmas Comes Early to Many Local Organizations
On December 12, the Board of Directors at the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation approved the final grant awards from the Foundation’s designated funds. At the end of this year, $470,010.27 will have been awarded to 93 churches and charitable agencies throughout the Chautauqua Region.
