The Chautauqua Region Community Foundation’s 19th Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled for May 23 at Moon Brook Country Club.
With a few spring-like days already on the record, many residents are looking forward to hitting the golf course and enjoying the warm weather!
The tournament will begin with an 11 a.m. shotgun start. As players make their way around the course, they will be scored on the best two balls out of four. Lunch will be served on the course, with dinner in the Clubhouse following play. Players will have many opportunities to win special prizes with designated hole contests.
Players can also test their luck with a number of raffle prizes including a 50/50 drawing, a chance to win a weekend golf staycation at Peek’n Peak Resort and more!
Over the past 19 years, this tournament has raised nearly $300,000 for the Foundation’s Fund for the Region. This fund provides financial support to emerging needs in the community.
In 2015, the Foundation introduced six new categories to the Fund for the Region to address emerging needs such as the maintenance of Chautauqua Lake, physician recruitment and neighborhood revitalization to name a few.
There is still time to get involved, whether as a sponsor or a player. For more information, contact the Community Foundation at 661-3390.
