Enriching the Quality of Life in the Chautauqua Region
The Chautauqua Region Community Foundation is a nonprofit, community corporation that serves the charitable purpose of benefiting the people of the community it serves. It was created by and for the people of the Chautauqua region to help donors make a positive impact on their community by establishing a “bridge” between the donor and charitable activities.
In 2021, the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation invested $3,975,308 back into the community in the form of grants and scholarships.
Nearly 700 local students received $1.3 million for costs related to higher education and area nonprofit organizations received $2.7 million.
The Community Foundation currently administers 706 endowment funds and its total assets at the end of 2021 were $142 million.
