The “go to” location in Bemus Point for technology access is getting an upgrade.
A recent grant from The Blossom Fund, administered by the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation provided the Bemus Point Library the means to purchase a new computer and all-in-one copier for staff and patrons to scan, fax and make copies.
According to Kathleen McCarthy, Bemus Point Library Director, although many of the library’s patrons disappear once summer is over, the library remains busy year-round. “The library is the only location in the Village for making copies, sending faxes and accessing to public computers,” McCarthy said. The library has become the community meeting place for residents and visitors.
