Gary C. Clark

Gary C. Clark, 80, formerly of Falconer, passed away July 2, 2018 in the Absolut Care of Salamanca.

He was born March 7, 1938, in Jamestown, the son of the late Cecil and Doris Nohlquist Clark.

Gary attended Bemus Point High School and was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1961-64.

Prior to retirement he was employed by MRC- SKF for 25 years, retiring in 1992.

He was a life member of the Henry Mosher Post 638, American Legion and the NRA. Gary was also a member of the War Vets and Recreation.

Surviving are his daughter, Wendy Clark and her companion, Denny Ellis of Jamestown; a granddaughter, Tiffany Lee Clark of Jamestown; and a sister, Cathy Hays of St. Paul, Pa.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Moran Clark, whom he married June 25, 1960, who died May 27, 2003; a son Steven G. Clark on May 4, 1997; a brother, Wayne Clark; and a sister, Nancy Thorne.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald E. Ray will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Falconer, N.Y.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be donated to The HUGO Fund (Keven Hulings Memorial Scholarship Fund), c/o Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, 418 Spring St., Jamestown, NY 14701, or to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY 14750.
