Did you know that in 2019, 22% of the Community Foundation’s scholarship recipients majored in healthcare related fields?
Made up of both undergraduate and graduate students, these young men and women are not just pre-med and nursing students, they represent a wide variety of majors that include pharmacy, occupational therapy, sports medicine, dentistry and more.

Nikki Frederickson and Ashley Frederickson – Jamestown Public School graduates, Nikki is a physician assistant in Raleigh, NC, while Ashley is a physical therapist in Greenville, SC.
Hillarie Norton – Sherman Central School and Gannon University graduate, Hillarie used her scholarship awards to pursue degrees in radiology and sciences. Today, she works at Brooks-TLC Hospital System, Inc. performing x-rays and CT scans.
Brianna and Shannon McFall – Falconer Central School graduates, Shannon and Brianna furthered their education at D’Youville College. Shannon graduated in 2017 and is working as a physician assistant at a primary care office in Orchard Park, while Brianna will earn her degree in physical therapy in 2021.
Tanner Hoose – Tanner is a Southwestern Central School graduate who is currently pursuing his RN degree at Kent State University.
Allison Munella – A Falconer Central School graduate, Allison completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at Mercyhurst University. Today, she works in the Jamestown area as a physician assistant in the psychiatric field, helping individuals in mental health and chemical dependency units.
