Community Foundation Donor Advised Funds

Chautauqua Region Community Foundation has more than doubled the number of endowed Donor Advised Funds in the last 5 years. The Funds offer flexibility, tax advantages, and opportunity for the donor to remain hands on. Clients can contribute cash or appreciated assets, take advantage of “bunching” strategies when appropriate, and recommend grants over time. 

Beyond administration, the Foundation offers deep knowledge of the Chautauqua Region, and actively engages fund advisors in co-investment opportunities. When significant projects or urgent needs arise, our staff “shop” those opportunities to fund advisors whose interests align, allowing your clients to participate in targeted, high-impact giving.
