The Chautauqua Region Community Foundation annually awards more than $2 million in scholarships to students pursuing higher education, job training and certification.

All scholarship applications are reviewed by volunteers and approved by the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

The Foundation hosts several different scholarship opportunities throughout the year, an overview of each can be found below. To access the menu of online applications, or submit a scholarship claim form, log on to the scholarship portal.

Available Scholarship Opportunities

Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors

The Foundation administers more than 160 scholarships for graduating high school seniors from specific high schools in Chautauqua County and Randolph, NY. Students should contact their high school Guidance Counselor’s office for more information about available scholarship opportunities.
Graduating high school seniors are also encouraged to apply through the General Application.
General Application Scholarships

Open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate college students from Chautauqua County and Randolph, NY. The majority of our available scholarships use this single, combined application to determine eligibility for more than 175 scholarship opportunities.

Workforce Training

Open to adult residents of Chautauqua County enrolled in a certification program outside of higher educational degree. Examples include phlebotomist, LPN, CNA, EMT, Radiologic Technologist, Automotive Technician, CDL, HVAC, Welding, Machining etc.
• Applications accepted on a rolling basis

Open to graduating Jamestown High School seniors and residents of the City of Jamestown who are attending Jamestown Community College.

Music Scholarships

Open to Chautauqua County students (K-11) to assist with the cost of music instruction, or high school seniors and college students fromChautauqua County majoring in music.

Jamestown Sister City Affiliation Scholarship

To provide financial assistance to students or teachers from Chautauqua County who are planning educational experiences abroad or foreign exchange students or teachers coming to the Chautauqua region for educational reasons.

Laurie Baer Olympic Hopeful

To provide financial assistance to cover the cost of training, and national or international competition for talented young athletes from Chautauqua County.

Space Camp Scholarship

Open to students (grades 4-12) or adults from Chautauqua County, NY or Warren County, PA to support the cost of attending U.S. Space Camp. Click here to learn more about the eligibility requirements and application process.
